Artist's Comments

Sometime last year I was inspired by a sketch done by Nambroth, so I took it upon myself to bring it to life. Sculpted in original Sculpey clay, painted with acrylics. For Stormdancer <3

Wonderful! I love it! By the way...were did you buy the eyes..I myself have been looking for some glass or acrylics eyes of just such a make for some faery dolls I've been making..

I do have the name of a good taxidermy supply website somewhere, but the eyes on this sculpture are actually just painted on and made glossy and wet-looking with a varnish.

Ooh..taxidermy supplies! If you do find the links do tell! I really want to find a book on that somewhere..see how difficult it is...always wanted to try taxidermy...using roadkill...mixing species...I'd never kill an animal for taxidermy purposes...I'd like to make a flying opposum!
